BGB Job Circular 2024 Application Requirements

Educational Qualification: 

Must have passed SSC or equivalent exam with at least a GPA of 3.00 and HSC or equivalent exam with at least a GPA of 2.50 (for both male and female candidates).

Physical Requirements for Men:

  • Height: 1.676 meters (5’6″). For indigenous groups, 1.625 meters (5’4″).
  • Weight: 49.895 kg (110 lbs). For indigenous groups, 47.173 kg (104 lbs).
  • Chest Measurement: Normal: 81.28 cm (32 inches), Expanded: 86.34 cm (34 inches). For indigenous groups, Normal: 76.20 cm (30 inches), Expanded: 81.28 cm (32 inches).
  • Vision: 6/6.

Physical Requirements for Women:

  • Height: 1.574 meters (5’2″). For indigenous groups, 1.524 meters (5’0″).
  • Weight: 47.173 kg (104 lbs). For indigenous groups, 43.544 kg (96 lbs).
  • Chest Measurement: Normal: 71.12 cm (28 inches), Expanded: 76.20 cm (30 inches).
  • Vision: 6/6.
  • Marital Status: Unmarried (divorced applicants not accepted).

The Director General reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions based on the force’s requirements.

Application process of bgb Job 2024

Step 1: Eligibility Test

  1. Click on the “Apply” button from the recruitment notice.
  2. Carefully read through the application process before starting.
  3. Click on the “Proceed” button.
  4. Answer all eligibility-related questions accurately.

Step 2: Registration

  1. If you meet the requirements, provide your mobile number (and email if available) and click on “Proceed.”
  2. You will receive a 4-digit OTP code via SMS. Enter the code in the input field and click “Verify.”
  3. Once your mobile number is verified, your system-generated User ID and Password will appear on the screen and will be sent via SMS. Click on “Go to Login Page.”

Step 3: Pay the Application Fee

  1. Use your User ID and Password to log in.
  2. Click on the “Pay Fee” button.
  3. Use your banking card or mobile banking service to complete the fee payment digitally.

Step 4: Education Verification

  1. Enter your SSC and HSC exam details (Board, Year, Roll Number, and Registration Number) for verification.
  2. If any information is incorrect, double-check and correct your exam details.

Step 5: Provide Personal Information and Upload Photo

  1. Once your educational details are verified, your name and other relevant information will be filled in automatically.
  2. Fill in your personal details in the form.
  3. Upload a recent passport-size photo.
  4. Tick the box that says “The information I provided is correct” and click on “Proceed to Next Step.”
  5. If there is an error, click “Edit Information” to correct it.
  6. Review your information carefully. Once submitted, changes cannot be made.
  7. If all the information is correct, tick the box “Are you sure you want to submit?” and then click “Submit.”

Step 6: Download Admit Card

  1. Wait for the admit card to be generated. You will receive an SMS notification once it’s ready.
  2. Log in to your profile using your User ID and Password, then download the admit card.
  3. Print the admit card and bring it to the exam centre.
