Position: Clinical Resource Hub (CRH) Psychologist
Location: VISN 9 (Remote)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy (individuals, families, couples, and groups).
- Deliver crisis intervention and short-term therapeutic services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers.
- Provide consultation services across Primary Care, Mental Health, and Specialty Care settings.
- Support geriatric veterans and caregivers through tailored mental health interventions.
Requirements:
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizen.
- Education:
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program (APA, PCSAS, or CPA).
- Completed a professional psychology internship (APA or CPA accredited).
- Licensure: Unrestricted license to practice psychology at the doctoral level.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a professional psychologist; GS-12 level experience preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Expertise in suicide prevention and treating chronic mental health conditions.
- Experience with evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions.
